The Story of Tractorgrease
World Premiere + Live Show · Chilliwack Film Festival · October 22, 2026
CHILLIWACK, BC — Filmmakers Chris Fassbender and Jeff Bonner announce the world premiere of One More Song: The Story of Tractorgrease, a feature documentary about one of Canada's most enduring musical institutions.
The film screens at the Chilliwack Film Festival on Thursday, October 22nd, 2026, followed the same night by Tractorgrease Revival 2. The core musicians behind Tractorgrease reunite to perform the songs that defined its history — a live show that picks up where the story leaves off.
The project grew out of the sold-out success of The Tractorgrease Revival, filmed in February 2024. The film traces the full arc of Tractorgrease — from its early days as a music collective, recording studio, café, and live venue .Along the way, Tractorgrease became a destination for some of Canada's finest musicians, many of whom recorded and performed there. Through archival footage, new interviews, and live performances the film documents over 20 years of musical adventures and the struggle to keep it all together.
This is a story about the passion of music and bringing community together for
